Brian Francs Culkin graduated from Skidmore College in 2001, where he was a standout student-athlete. After breaking every scoring record and graduating as the all-time leading scorer in the school's history with nearly 1,800 points and receiving national accolades, he went on to play professional basketball in Europe for a year following graduation.

 

Before transitioning to writing and creative work, Brian founded and served as Managing Director/CEO of United Mortgage Group, a commercial and residential mortgage firm. From 2004 to 2010, he led a team of twenty brokers and staff, overseeing all aspects of the business.

 

After his career in finance, Brian opened the popular Jai Yoga studio, where he taught daily Vinyasa classes and led workshops on yoga philosophy and practice. During this time, he also worked as a consultant with the Open Mind Training Institute, a boutique management consultancy based in Santa Monica, California.

 

Fluent in Spanish, Brian has lived primarily in South America since 2019, where he continues to integrate his creative, spiritual, and business pursuits.

 

In addition to his work in the arts and entrepreneurship, Brian has authored more than twenty books, directed three films, and curates a growing collection of Peruvian visionary and folk art.

 

He has a deep interest in astrology, numerology, and palmistry, and offers professional consultations through his platform, www.astro-theory.com serving clients around the world.
